Combating Corruption with Technology
A panel discussion on Combating Corruption with Technology as Enabler was held during the National Seminar organized as part of Golden Jubilee Celebrations of CVC in New Delhi on February 11-12, 2014. Eminent personalities and dignitaries from different walks of life contributing to the good governance of the country had been invited for discussions. The session on Combating Corruption with Technology as Enabler was chaired by Shri J.Satyanarayana, Secretary, Ministry of Information & Technology and the eminent panelists were Ms. Sudha Sharma, Chairman CBDT, Shri M.J. Joseph, Additional Secretary Ministry of Corporate affairs, Shri Vijay .S. Madan Director General , UID and Dr. Arup Roy Choudhury, CMD, NTPC. Panelists shared experiences on how leveraging technology led to simplification of processes and transparency in the systems to help fight corruption in their organizations.
