CVC releasing Handbook on “Departmental Enquiry Proceedings”.

 

On the eve of Vigilance Awareness Week from 31st October 2016  to 5th November, 2016 at Head Office of Punjab National Bank, Bhikaiji Cama Place, New Delhi, the Central Vigilance Commissioner, Shri K V Chowdary addressed the top executives of the Bank.   He emphasized on the need of public participation in promoting integrity and eradication of corruption. He dealt with, in detail the causes of the corruption as well as the steps required to reduce corruption and finally create an atmosphere where the corruption is totally eradicated.

On this occasion, he also released a Handbook on “Departmental Enquiry Proceedings” prepared by the Vigilance Department of Punjab National Bank.

The programme was chaired by Smt. Usha Ananthasubramanian, Managing Director & CEO.  Shri Satish K Nagpal, Chief Vigilance Officer of Punjab National Bank welcomed the Chief Guest Shri K V Chowdary, CVC.

The programme was attended by the Executive Director and all the Corporate General Managers and Divisional Heads of Head Office Divisions as well as Zonal Manager, Delhi Zone and Circle Heads of Delhi and Noida. Other Zonal Offices also attended the programme through video conference.

The meeting ended with a vote of thanks by  Dr. R S Sangapure, Executive Director.
