DIG (Prisons) D Roopa has been transferred to the traffic wing days after submitting the controversial report which alleged that VK Sasikala and Abdul Karim Telgi were being given “preferential treatment” in Bengaluru Central Jail. The Karnataka government has said the senior officer’s transfer to traffic wing is not “punishment posting”.
