The Government of India announced implementation of the Goods & Service Tax (GST) from 1st July, 2017 and has directed all the ministries to propagate its significance and applications among all the stakeholders related to the PSUs concerned. The GOI is also ensuring the smooth transition to GST.
A meeting of Functional Directors of NLCIL with senior officials was held at Corporate Office, Neyveli, on 12.07.2017 to review the actions for smooth migration of GST in NLCIL. Shri Rakesh Kumar, Director (Finance) of NLCIL has chaired the meeting and reviewed the status of GST implementation in the Company. He explained in detail various steps taken by the company for the roll out of GST with effect from 1.7.2017.
