Humanitarian Act – Uttarakhand police turns up to perform last rites of person who suddenly died and whose body villagers turned away suspecting it as covid infected.

One person died suddenly in Uttarkashi. The villagers did not agree to handle him as they suspected he was Corona infected. SI Sanjay Sharma from the police post Dunda arrived at the scene along with fellow jawans and wearing PPE kit and performed the last rites of the deceased as per the covid guidelines ,which really reflects the humanitarianism of Uttarakhand Police.
