M K Bhattacharya has been appointed as Executive Director of Indian Bank with immediate effect. He was Chief General Manager and Chief Risk Officer at State Bank of Travancore. Bhattacharya, in his more than three decade old career joined State Bank of Mysore as a probationery officer and held various responsibilities, including Branch Head, Regional Head and Module Head. He is also an Associate Member of Institute of Cost and Works Accountant and a post graduate in Commerce and CAIIB.
