KALKAJI SENIOR CITIZEN HARMEET KAUR STRANGULATION AT KALKAJI YESTERDAY AGAIN PUTS A SPOTLIGHT ON THE UNCONTROLLABLE CRIME GRAPH BY DELHI POLICE IN THE CAPITAL
With increasing attacks on senior citizens ,and the recent murder of Harmet Kaur aged 71 yr a residence of Kalkaji .It again puts the spot light on increasing Crime in the capital and especially on senior citizens.The lady was strangulated when her daughter in law had went out to Gurudwara and when she came back the senior citizen was lying unconscious.
On coming back from Gurudwara in the evening the daughter in law the lady lying unconscious and the house been ransacked.According to reports 70-80k cash was missing from almirah and jewellery in lakhs being looted.The prime motive suspected is burglary .The current domestic help was taking a bath at the time of incident according to the statement.The police is zeroing down on previous domestic helps who were sacked recently.
The capital has been seeing lot of crime spates on senior citizens recently and the graph is going upwards and is not being minimized.The servant verification is a very important process which should be followed very sternly but seems like there might be some lapses in that as if the process of verification has been proper ,such crimes wouldn’t have happened.
It’s the time for the bureaucracy and current governance to look into this matter seriously and creates some important guidelines for security agencies of states .the police departments so such incidences can be controlled and the crime brought down.
