The tenure of Kamlesh Nilkanth Vyas as Secretary of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) and Chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission (AEC) was extended for a period of one year beyond 03.05.2022. He is serving as Secretary of DAE & Chairman of AEC since September 21, 2018, and got his first extension for a period of one year in May 2021.
