LELA BY VARIJA SHOWCASES O2 AT INDIA RUNWAY WEEK.

LELA by Varija Bajaj showcased her collection “O2“ at the ongoing India Runway Week on 30thMarch, inspired by the environmental hazards and pollution causing everyone to suffocate. Known for her fashion shows always with a cause, designer Varija Bajaj this time brought together 40 children from various schools of Delhi to walk the ramp appealing for a strong  action to conserve the environment under I DESERVE TO LIVE campaign. 

She said “It is now believed that while our parents will die of old age, our children will die of climate change.It is time to act NOW.” Commenting non this unique theme she said “I use Fashion as an expression of my thought process which is highly influenced by what is happening in the society.”

The collection was a creative and a boho rendition of flora and fauna beautifully crafted into summer pastels. Through the use of natural fabrics the designer showcased a free spirited easy to wear bohomian mix and match collection.It was a perfect blend of western and Indian silhouettes for the modern young fashion conscious women.

The show was well supported by Anca Verma, Jeetendra Dharewa, Akkash K Aggarwal, Kaushik Ghosh, Bharti Taneja, Gunjan Gaur, Vinod Kaul and full house with many others.
