POLICE HORSE SHAKTIMAAN STATUE INSTALLED AND REMOVED WITHIN DAYS
New Delhi : Shaktimaan, a 14-year-old horse in the police service, who was allegedly beaten up by BJP’s Mussoorie MLA, Ganesh Joshi. The horse was left with a broken leg, which later had to be amputated.
On Saturday, a statue of the horse was installed in Dehradun as a tribute. However, it was removed on Tuesday morning, reported NDTV.
According to the report, Harish Rawat, the Uttarakhand Chief Minister who had visited Shaktimaan when she was injured, said:
I leave it for the next government to decide if this statue needs to be here or not.
Shaktimaan succumbed to her injuries earlier this year in April.
