Punjab National Bank organises Cleanliness Drive on Gandhi Jayanti
In line with govt of India campaign of Swachhata Hi Seva, a cleanliness drive led by Shri Sunil Mehta, Managing Director & CEO Punjab National Bank was held at Dwarka Sector 10 metro station, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. Executive Director Sh KV Brahmaji Rao, Chief Vigilance Offier Sh Satish Nagpal, General Managers and several other senior officials also participated in this cleanliness drive.
2.Speaking on the occasion, Shri Sunil Mehta, Managing Director & CEO said that each one of us must campaign intensively for awareness generation of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan to create better sanitation environment. He urged upon the participants to inculcate a culture of Swacthha (Cleanliness) in our day to day life. Shri Mehta said that Swatchhta should be adopted not only in office work spaces but also in the thoughts and deeds while initiating our reach with the Industry. It should be made a practice of our day to day life.
3.On this occasion a CSR activity was also performed by the bank under the banner of PNB Prerna and T-Shirts were distributed among the Safai Mitra and urged upon them to participate in the govt initiative wholeheartedly to make the country a better place to live in. A Swachha Bharat is a Swastha Bharat.
