New Delhi : World HRD Congress 2014 conferred Global HR Excellence awards at Mumbai. Rajeev Sharma, CMD, REC was conferred award for ‘CEO with HR orientation’. On the behalf of CMD, REC, the award was received by, C.P.Bhatia, GM (F&A)/ Zonal Manager (WZ).
REC has been making conscious effort to adopt cutting edge HR practices and always tried to set a standard, to become a model for benchmarking in the industry across all the sectors. In such endeavour a new Performance Management System (PMS) has been launched whereby an element of transparency is added. Other HR efforts include infusion of fresh blood at regular intervals, measures to improve quality of work life and putting in place better social security apparatus.
