S .K. Roy elevated to Managing Director post, LIC ,also believed to be one of the strongest contender for Chairman post which become vacant today.
NEW DELHI, MAY 31: Sh. S. K. Roy today took over as Managing Director of Life Insurance Corporation of India. Roy, whose name is in the reckoning for the post of LIC Chairman , joined the largest insurance company in the country in 1981.He takes over the charge from D.K.Mehrotra the current Chairman whose official tenure ended today.Besides, Roy other managing directors are Thomas Mathew and S Sarker.
