Sharjah FDI Office (Invest in Sharjah) and Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) welcomed a delegation from Singapore headed by H.E. Mr. Low Pit Chen, Consul-General of Singapore in Dubai and Dr Francis Chong, senior director, emerging markets division ministry of trade and industry Singapore at House of Wisdom in Sharjah.

The visit aimed at strengthening relations with Singapore, discussed potential sectors of interest and business collaboration opportunities between the country and Sharjah in addition to highlighting Sharjah’s strengths as an investment destination.

Sharjah is a global economy, and a global ecosystem for sustainable development, social impact, environmental sustainability and business profitability. Sharjah is home to 129 Singaporean businesses and startups, of which 90 companies operate in Sharjah Freezones, and with a exports and re-exports value of AED 125 million.

Singapore and Sharjah are met by common trade values, in-line with the world’s commitment towards positive social, economic and environmental impacts, and together we are making trade and business growth more accessible to key Singaporean markets as well as the wider Asian markets.
