Following the instructions of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India, the UT health department also expanded the COVID Vaccination Drive to include all persons aged 45 years and above from 1st April 2021.

The Government and Private Health Facilities administering the Vaccine are on the path to make the Vaccination drive a Success. The vaccine is available free of cost at all the Government Facilities whereas for Rs 250 per dose in the Private Healthcare Facilities, announced the health department.

The citizens are requested to register on CoWIN portal using the link www.cowin.gov.in

Alternatively ‘on the spot registration’ facility is also available at all the COVID Vaccination Centres (CVCs). As the COVID positivity rate is increasing in the city, early vaccination by the residents will help in reducing the transmission of the virus and help to reduce morbidity and mortality.
