POWERGRID is conferred India Pride Awards 2015-16for ‘Excellence in Energy and Power’in the category of PSU-Central by the leading media house, DainikBhaskar.
The Media House also conferred the award for Excellence as HOD, Corporate Affairs and Communicationson Chetan Varma, General Manager (Corporate Communications). The Awrads were presented by M. Venkaiah Naidu, Union Minister of Urban Development, Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation and Parliamentary Affairs in the august presence of Ravi Shankar Prasad, Hon’ble Union Minister of Communications and Information Technology,and Radha Mohan Singh, Hon’ble Union Minister of Agriculture at a function held in New Delhi.
