PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK EMPLOYEE BASANTA KUMAR SINGHA ROY WINS PRESTIGOUS TENZING NORGAY NATIONAL ADVENTURE AWARD
New Delhi,Sept.4,2013: Shri Basanta Kumar Singha Roy, a PNB employee has been awarded the PRESTIGIOUS TENZING NORGAY NATIONAL ADVENTURE AWARD for the year 2012 from his Excellency, Shri Pranab Mukherjee, Hon’ble President of India at Rashtrapati Bhavan for his impeccable achievement in the field of Mountaineering.
Besides, he succeeded in climbing the Mt.Annapurna-I, Mt. Kanchenjunga and Mt. Everest/South Col/, Nepal, etc. in the year April 2012, May 2011 and May 2010 respectively.
